Unregistered car in a public parking area

WHAT CAN YOU DO WHEN AN UNREGISTERED CAR TAKES UP A PUBLIC PARKING PLACE?

The public parking areas are intended for parking cars that are registered and functional. A car owner who has not registered the vehicle, or the owner of a non-functional car, is required to remove the car from public areas.

If you see such a car, notify the Utility Service and they will find the owner of the vehicle and inform them that they are obliged to remove the vehicle. If the owner does not remove the car, a Utility Officer will issue a decision on removing the vehicle and specify the company that will remove the vehicle at the expense of the owner.

Note: in cases of great urgency or during the weekend, holidays or night, you can always call the police and/or the Green Phone service for your county (072 123 456).
