Green Address Books of Croatia, Serbia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina

For quality work of activists on the Green Phone and active participation of citizens in the protection of environment and nature, a 'tool' is needed to facilitate the orientation concerning the competencies of public services and search for their contact information.

Thus, the Green Phone Network from Croatia, in cooperation with partners from Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, prepared Green Address Books (for each region), intended for all activists of the associations who are dealing with the protection of the environment and nature, and especially to citizens in order to be more successful in finding persons responsible for a particular problem in the environment. It contains contact information of institutions, services, and public institutions competent for the environment and nature.

All information published in the Address Books refer to the situation existing in January 2008.
Green Address Books for Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Croatia have been created within the project “Spreading the Green Phone Network” financed by REC (Regional Environmental Centre) through the SECTOR programme. It is a partnership project of the Green Phone Network from Croatia represented by the Eko Pan association from Karlovac, the Environmental Society Bura from Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the Gorani Movement of Novi Sad and Vojvodina, Serbia, for the duration of which members of the Association of Green Phone Networks from Croatia convey their experiences and knowledge gained through work on the Green Phone service to the associations for environmental and nature protection in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia.
