The end of December 2016 was also the end of the two-year project of the Green Phone Network Partnership for the Environment: Development of capacities in environmental protection of the public and civil sector in Croatia through the application of the Green Phone service.

We present the publication YOU CAN DO IT! - Independent and active citizens in environmental protection with the aim of encouraging citizens to participate actively and independently in solving environmental problems. It can be downloaded here.

Six “Small actions” showed that cross-sectoral cooperation is possible and necessary. “Small actions” include activities conducted within the framework of the project "Partnership for the Environment", funded by the EU and the Office for Cooperation with NGOs of the Croatian Government.

The aim of these actions was to identify and resolve local environmental problems. We have determined the problems and solutions through a dialogue with the competent institutions for environmental protection, each of the partner associations in the project for its Green Phone area.

Partner Associations in the project "Partnership for the Environment", funded by the EU and the Office for Cooperation with NGOs of the Croatian Government, in the framework of the project and in cooperation with local radio and TV stations, began producing informative and educational shows called Green Phone this spring.
By presenting the current, local environmental issues, we aim to use the shows to encourage citizens to actively and independently participate in solving environmental problems , but also to ensure greater visibility of the Green Phone Network.

The strategic planning and the annual general meeting of the Green Phone Network were held from March 18th to March 20th, 2015 on the premises of Green Action. This activity is a part of the partnership project "Environmental Partnership: Capacity Development in the protection of the Environment in the Public and Civil Sectors in Croatia through the Utilisation of the Green Phone Service Network”.
